* Monetary awards are based on revenues earned during the second year (and each year thereafter). Broker must earn a minimum broker revenue of $50,000 and renew lease the following January to qualify. Bonus figures based on continued service through the next year. Bonuses are payed only in years Tri Union Express has a profit.
Driver Safety Awards
are presented on an annual basis. No preventable accidents or
cargo claims. At least one year continuous driving for TUX. Awards consist of
certificates, patches and gifts selected for each specific year of service. Drivers must
attend a minimum of two safety meetings per calendar year. We have meetings approximately
every three months. Awards also contingent on a "satisfactory" MVR..
Driver Appreciation
The drivers receive gifts from time to time to show our appreciation for loyalty to the company. We
also have a company family picnic in the summer and a driver appreciation week.
Tri-Union Express offers discounted insurance packages, including non-trucking, physical damage, workman's compensation, health/medical plans, disability insurance and occupational-accident insurance.
Most importantly, we believe in an open door policy where drivers can stop in or call if they have complaints or if they want to make suggestions. We are "hands on" management and try to treat all drivers with respect. Our belief is that without the drivers there is no company.
